Vaping: Important Facts You Should Know

Vaping: Important Facts You Should Know
You may have thought about quitting smoking. Many people like you have written about their experiences on Collected.Reviews.

The collective challenge they encounter is that quitting is not as easy as learning to smoke. Although smoking can damage almost every organ in the body and lead to death from heart diseases, it is still a rampant thing.

To reduce the use of traditional cigarettes, you may think vaping devices or electronic cigarettes can be any better. There are many advertisements that promote e-cigarettes as an alternative to reduce smoking and eventually withdraw. However, does it mean vaping is better than traditional cigarettes? You can learn about vaping if you don’t know what it is yet. However, you must consider these facts before you adopt it:

1.  Vaping is Bad for the Heart and the Lungs:

There is nicotine in both traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes. This makes it highly addictive. The nicotine in them enhances the desire to smoke and suffer stress during the period of withdrawal. As a toxic substance, it can increase blood pressure and spike adrenaline. This increases heart rate and can cause a heart attack. Many people still ask if vaping is bad for their health. In the long term, it has extremely bad effects and it can link to chronic lung diseases and asthma. You can even have cardiovascular diseases through your exposure to the chemicals it contains.

2.  Vaping Isn’t As Harmful as Smoking but It Isn’t Safe Anyways:

Electronic cigarettes contain heat nicotine which is derived from tobacco. It has chemicals that create an aerosol with its flavorings when you inhale the vapor. While a regular cigarette contains about 7,000 chemicals, the amount of toxicity in e-cigarettes isn’t yet known. Yet, there have been reports of lung injuries and deaths as a result of e-cigarettes. There have been about 60 deaths as of January 21, 2020, from the reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While these cases seem to be from black people who usually modify their e-cigarettes with e-liquids, it becomes a product that contains tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which becomes a thickening agent. This is why it has been advised that THC-containing e-cigarettes should be avoided.

3.  E-cigarettes are not the Best Smoking Cessation Tool:

There are many ads on how e-cigarettes can help smokers quit smoking. However, this hasn’t been approved by the Food and Drug Administration yet. The Addiction nicotine sponsors equal the addiction found in traditional cigarettes. This is why it is advised that other FDA-approved smoking cessation options should be considered instead of e-cigarettes.

4.  There is No Difference in the Addiction Level of E-cigarettes and Traditional Cigarettes:

Both Cigarettes contain nicotine. This agent is as addictive as cocaine and heroin. There is therefore no difference in what both smoking strategies offer.

5.  The New Generation is Big on Nicotine:

Many youths find e-cigarettes more popular and most used than tobacco products. They believe vaping is less harmful because it is less costly than traditional cigarettes. They are also appealed by its watermelon and apple pie flavorings. However, there is no significant difference between the two smoke methods.

Quitting smoking would be the best thing that can happen to anyone. You can visit a doctor for smoking cessation options which can let you repair your health and stay away from cigarettes for good.
